Black, white, and REDACTED boxes are applied before each page is rebuilt as an image in a new PDF. The original text layer, comments, attachments, and metadata are not copied. Blur is visual masking only and should not be used for irreversible redaction.
Yes. Secure PDF output is image-based, so text is no longer selectable and file size may change. Review every page before sharing the result.
Core redaction features work, but OCR may still miss information or suggest false positives. Always review detected and manually added areas before downloading and sharing a file.
